The ONA Advocacy Academy builds ONA Legislative Ambassadors through an in-depth and robust 1-day training.
The academy is for nurses who want to take their interest in policy and advocacy to the next level. ONA members who graudate from the academy will be pinned and become official ONA Legislative Ambassadors - a growing network of Ohio nurses who
- Represent the nurses' voice with legislators
- Have developed relationships with their legislators
- Stay in the know on the latest legislative and regulations affecting nursing
- Take action on nursing issues
